The Scope: Design, manufacture and install of LV Motor Control Centre MCC with DOL, VSD and feeder modules, design and commission of PLC and communication system, UPS back up and switchroom gas suppression.

This Switchroom was required as the supply substation for a new Paste mining operation. It included a 6 tier back and front Leistung Energie 800A rated Low Voltage Motor Control Centre with dual incomers for mains power and backup generator power, complete with PLC and marshalling integral to the switchboard. The motor control centre also had Vamp arc flash detection

This Switchroom has 5 different rooms under the one roof with a control room with viewing windows, laboratory for soil testing, lunch room with tables, chairs, fridge and kitchen bench and sink with all plumbing connected. Toilet facility and an LV Switchroom with fire rating.

MVLV also liaised with our sub-contractors and supplies to ensure suitable supply of fire indication, VESDA and suppression systems, UPS backup systems, PLC control panels and accessories, and communications infrastructure cabinets.

Finally, MVLV took it upon themselves to completely cable, test, terminate and factory commission all underfloor power, control and communications cabling in accordance with client specifications.
