The Scope: Design and manufacture of 2x 2500A rated Motor Control Centres and amp; 1x 630A rated Motor Control Centre with outgoing feeders. 

These MCC’s were built in a quick time frame to meet our customers’ demands and to help them execute their project on time. These MCC’s will be operational in the oil & gas sector.

These three Motor Control Centres were split up into 3 different boards with 2 being identical with a 2500A Terasaki ACB incomer, 3x 630A and 1x 400A outgoing feeder rated for 100kA.

The 630A rated switchboard had ground fault installed on the main incomer and was made up with a combination of 32A to 250A feeders with 12 in total.

These boards were installed into an IP56 enclosure and were designed and certified to meet cyclone ratings for its region.

The board is an X15 (electric) orange colour.

MVLV provided design, drafting, engineering and manufactured the MCC using our key supplier’s products.

Project success was guaranteed due to MVLV’s close liaison with the Client and experienced supply chain to ensure effective on-time and on-budget delivery.
