POWER GENERATION SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE – 2017

The Scope: Design and Supply 6 x IP66 Enclosed Motor Control Centre / Power Distribution Panels for Generator Supply and Distribution Services.

This project involved 2 sets of identical panels for the generator supply infrastructure and reliability upgrade works in South Australia.

This was a variation on the standard type tested IP43 M Series design, and involved an additional IP66 outdoor enclosure facilitating full outdoor installation of the MCCs.

The overall installation included 4 x 2500 Amp MCCs and 2 x 960 Amp MCCs, with each MCC including Fault Current Limitation via line side fuses to achieve 100kA total apparatus fault withstand capability.

  • Electrical Schematic and Termination Drawings.
  • Sheetmetal Construction and Fabrication.
  • Motor Control Centre Supply and Installation.
  • IP66 Custom Outdoor Enclosure.

The project was completed and assembled at the Client’s premises in South Australia, on-time and on-budget.
